Grade and sample selection

Higher ADC content is not automatically better.

A suitable grade is selected against the application, current product, process and target, then confirmed by a customer production trial.

Inquiry inputs

Six facts that make a sample useful.

Share what you know. HESO does not need your confidential internal formula to organize an initial grade and sample discussion.

01

Application and material

Identify the finished product and main polymer or foam system.

02

Current product or grade

Share the current blowing-agent type or grade. Do not disclose confidential internal formulation details.

03

Current dosage

Include the dosage if known; it is context for comparison, not a universal recommendation.

04

Processing conditions

Describe the method, equipment and relevant operating window.

05

Issue or target

Clarify the current issue and target cost/performance balance.

06

Sample and destination

State the trial quantity required and destination country so feasibility can be checked.

Commercial selection sequence

Application first. Bulk supply last.

Specifications screen options. Customer production trials determine whether the offered grade is suitable in the actual system.

Frequently asked

Technical guide FAQ

Is ADC the same as AC blowing agent?

ADC, azodicarbonamide and AC blowing agent are commonly used market terms. The exact standard, superfine or compound grade still needs to be identified.

Should I choose the highest ADC content?

No. Higher content does not automatically mean better compatibility, cell structure or cost/performance. Compare a suitable grade in the current application and process.

Can HESO adjust a compound grade?

A compound-grade discussion is available for established PVC foam board and EVA applications. Sample evaluation is recommended, and unfamiliar or complex processes may require external analysis.

What documents can be requested?

Supplier technical documents can be discussed for the identified grade. SDS, transport classification and export documentation must be verified for each final compound product before bulk international shipment.
